Overview

These cylindrical clear glass bottles use a swing-top closure: a wire bail that clamps a stopper and gasket onto the mouth. The closure can be reopened and resealed many times, which is why swing-top bottles are common for home brewing, kombucha, lemonade and homemade wine. Capacities run from 200 to 1,000 ml, including 250, 500 and 750 ml. Because the seal is held by the bail rather than threads, no capping machine is needed for filling.
